Eight interconnected work packages guide Green STEAM from project launch to long-term sustainability, each building on the last in a clear chronological flow. This robust framework ensures that scientific integrity, educational excellence, and technical innovation are balanced throughout the lifecycle of the initiative.
PROJECT STRUCTURE · 2025–2028
Work Packages
WP1 · Management
2025–2028. Coordination, quality assurance, financial monitoring and transnational partner meetings that keep the consortium aligned and on schedule. Our management strategy focuses on agile response to educational needs and transparent reporting across all EU member states involved.
WP2 · Teacher Handbook
2025–2026. A practical handbook equipping teachers to integrate environmental science, art and technology into interdisciplinary STEAM teaching. This comprehensive resource includes methodological frameworks, pedagogical scripts, and assessment tools designed for secondary education levels.
WP3 · Lesson Plans
2026. Ready-to-use, curriculum-aligned lesson plans tested in partner schools and refined through classroom feedback. Each unit is built around real-world environmental challenges, fostering critical thinking and collaborative problem-solving among students.
WP4 · Field Guides
2026–2027. Field guides and sensor deployment guides that help students collect real environmental data in local ecosystems. These guides bridge the gap between abstract scientific theory and hands-on investigation in parks, forests, and urban environments.
WP5 · Data Literacy
2027. Data literacy workshops where students and teachers analyse, visualise and interpret the environmental data they gather. Participants learn to use advanced digital tools to transform raw numbers into compelling narratives about ecological health and climate change.
WP6 · Digital Platform
2026–2028. An open digital platform hosting all resources, shared datasets and collaboration tools for the Green STEAM community. This hub serves as a central repository for cross-border cooperation, allowing schools to compare environmental findings in real-time.
WP7 · Outreach
2025–2028. Scientific outreach, dissemination events and publications sharing project results with schools, researchers and policymakers. We aim to influence European educational policy by demonstrating the efficacy of STEAM-based environmental education.
WP8 · Sustainability
2027–2028. Exploitation and sustainability planning ensuring resources remain freely available and used well beyond the funding period. This includes establishing local alumni networks and securing commitments from regional educational authorities to maintain the digital infrastructure.
MEETINGS & ACTIVITIES
Where the partnership comes together
A chronicle of transnational project meetings, teacher training workshops and multiplier events that move Green STEAM from plan to classroom practice.

Kick-off Transnational Meeting
Teacher Training Workshop in Crete
Field Learning Activity in Liberec
Partners align on objectives, work packages, quality assurance and the project timeline, and set roles for each organisation.
Hands-on sessions on sensor deployment, field guides and data literacy, testing lesson plans before classroom piloting.
To be announced

Mid-term Progress Meeting
Multiplier Events
Final Meeting & Sustainability
Review of pilot results, digital platform development and handbook drafts, with adjustments agreed for the next phase.
National events in each partner country present project results to teachers, schools and stakeholders.
Partners evaluate outcomes, finalise results and agree a sustainability plan to keep Green STEAM resources in use.

Outreach & Sustainability
Growth & Continuity
Green STEAM shares its findings through open-access publications, conference presentations, public science events and partner school networks. All teacher handbooks, lesson plans, field guides and sensor deployment guides remain freely available on the digital platform after the project ends, while trained teachers act as multipliers, so the methods keep growing in classrooms across Europe.
